Can I review my return before it's filed?

Absolutely — we never file a return without your explicit review and approval. Providing you the opportunity to review your completed return before filing is a standard and non-negotiable part of our process.

When your return is ready, we deliver it through your secure client portal along with a summary memo that explains: the overall tax strategy used (FEIE, FTC, or combination), all forms and schedules included, your total tax liability or refund amount, any notable positions or elections made, and recommendations for future tax planning.

You can take as much time as you need to review the return. We encourage you to look at: the personal information section for accuracy, all income amounts to verify they match your records, any exclusions or credits claimed, FBAR and FATCA reporting details, and the bottom line tax owed or refund expected.

If you have questions about any aspect of the return, your assigned tax professional is available to explain everything in plain language. We want you to understand your return, not just sign it. Many of our clients find this educational — after working with us for a year or two, they develop a much better understanding of how international taxation works.

If you identify any errors or want to discuss alternative strategies, we make revisions at no additional cost. Common revision requests include updated income figures from a corrected foreign employer statement, a preference for a different FEIE/FTC strategy, or additional deductions that were not initially provided.

Once you are satisfied, you approve the return through the portal (electronic signature) and we file it. We retain copies of all filed returns in your portal for future reference.
